Citizen Participation

The City of Dorval now has an online consultation platform called Dorval Citizen Participation.

The City of Dorval now has an online consultation platform called "Dorval Citizen Participation"! As an open municipality who attentively listens to its citizens, the City invites its residents to take an active role in its democratic life and to express themselves openly on various issues, problems, initiatives, projects, and more, through this online consultation platform.

This tool reflects the City’s willingness to place residents at the heart of municipal decisions and to offer them the opportunity to shape the Dorval of tomorrow. At the same time, the municipality wishes to improve the quality, the credibility, and the efficiency of the participatory process, all the while offering an environment where exchange of ideas and collaboration between members of the Dorval community can flourish.

In order to have their say on various subjects and issues in Dorval, citizens will first need to create an online account. Once this step is completed, they will be able to actively take part in discussions and consultations put forward by the municipality.

You can also access the platform via the quick link "Dorval Citizen Participation" on the homepage of the City's website. This is where you'll be able to get involved whenever the City launches a consultation process.
