Requests and Complaints

Always trying to better serve its citizens, the City of Dorval offers them the possibility to make an online request.

Dorval residents can inform the City about a non-urgent problem related to various pickup services (garbage, recycling, organic waste, bulk solid waste, large objects, etc.), the roads, the maintenance of municipal buildings, aqueduct and sewer networks, as well as the street lighting and road signage networks.

Once you send your request, it will be forwarded to the appropriate service, where a city employee will follow-up as quickly as possible. You will also be addressed an acknowledgement of receipt, including a request number. It will allow you to follow the progress of your request, as some information may be added with respect to actions taken by the City to respond to your request. Finally, you will be notified upon completion of your request.

You can also submit a request twith your smartphone in just a few clicks, thanks to the Voilà! Signalement app.

Here is how to report a situation:

  • Download the Voilà! Signalement free mobile app on the App Store (iOS) or on Google Play (Android) and create your profile.
  • Click on "Nouvelle demande" (New Request) and select "Dorval". You can also attach a photo of the situation you want to report.
  • Select the nature of your request from the choices available.
  • Specify the location of the situation you want to report and send your request.
